ceremonies

celebratinG our our fertility and a women’s rite of passage

I’m here to celebrate our menstrual cycles, the moon cycles, the seasons of the earth and our rites of passage into motherhood.

I facilitate women’s circles, and other ceremonies from my South American indigenous traditions to honour our feminine energy and motherhood. Celebrating our rites of passage can really make a positive impact in our transitions.

This ceremony is something you carry for the rest of your life, feeling loved and seen.

Gather your sisters and celebrate womanhood with me.

We can view a Woman’s life in 4 cycles or seasons:

Girl to Maiden – Birth to Mestruation

Maiden to Mother – Menstruation to Chilbirth

Mother to Maga - Childbirth to Menopause

Maga to Crone – menopause to retirement and death

These four seasons are related to the proclamation of her creativity, sexuality and fertility. A rite of passage is the celebration of the initiation that marks the transformation, the end of one season, and the beginning of the next.

Id love to facilitate your women’s circle and ceremony

I will honour your feminine energy, your cycles, your fertility, your journey to conception, birth, postnatal recovery and motherhood. Let’s ritual and celebrate!

  • A healing ritual and treatment that involves rocking the hips with a rebozo (a shawl), head and foot massage, warming oils on the belly to help restore balance, to bring rectum abdominals together, hips and ribs back into place.

I have borough this tradition from my ancestors in South America and lovingly have been sharing it worldwide. Closing the Bones is a gentle, comforting ritual designed to support women in their postpartum journey, whether they've recently given birth or years have passed since. While traditionally performed shortly after childbirth, here in the UK, it's often embraced within the first few weeks, yet its benefits are timeless, extending to women even a year after giving birth. Given its profound role in nurturing mothers after the extraordinary feat of childbirth, there's little reason to delay experiencing its tender embrace.

In past traditions postpartum care was a cherished practice worldwide, passed down through generations. Today, we rediscover this ancient wisdom, drawing inspiration from our sisters in South America. Traditionally, Closing the Bones unfolds over the sacred forty days following birth, a time when women are enveloped in daily massages, nourishing foods, and tender care, echoing the reverence for new mothers across cultures.

Pregnancy and birth open women up energetically, and Closing the Bones gently guides them back to themselves.

    • £185 Home Visit

    What does it entail?

    1) Cacao Ceremony where I give you space to debrief your birth experience

    2) Full body Rebozo

    3) Head Massage, Womb Massage and Reflexology

    4) La Cerrada which includes recozo massage, reiki and poetry.

When you book two practitioners I work alongside a colleague. One of us can look after the baby if needed.

My Closing the Bones ceremony intertwines body binding with an opportunity to debrief your birth experience, honour your rite of passage and transformation, a restorative postnatal head and womb massage, reflexology, rebozo "sifting’.

My intention is to create a sacred sanctuary where we honor and acknowledge your birthing experience, tenderly cherishing your body's journey, restoring your energy channels, and releasing any emotional ties that might hinder your transformation.

We commence with a soothing foot massage (reflexology) and a head massage. Followed by a womb massage: conducted with warm oils. This gentle massage, spanning from the pubic bone to the lower back, aims to relax muscles, stimulate hormonal balance, promote fluid movement, bolster the immune system, and alleviate anxiety and depression, guiding your body from a state of tension to one of restoration.. Next, we engage in "sifting," using the rebozo shawl to rock and bind, particularly focusing on the hips, where unresolved emotions may linger.

Then comes the main ceremony: "Closing The Bones." Here, you'll be hugged by six rebozo scarves, cocooned in warmth, and invited to surrender to relaxation as your body releases any lingering tensions.

You will receive some reiki and poetry.

This ceremony can have a big shift if your birth didn’t go as planned. And also healing your red thread from generations of women before you.
